অনার্স (৪ছর) এবং মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রী(২ বছর) প্রোগ্রাম গতানুতিক ডিগ্রীর চেয়ে অনেকটাই ভিন্ন।

একটু জেনে নেই কি সেই ভিন্নতা ;

১. অনার্স এবং মাস্টার্স শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রথম ১ বছর /৬ মাসের বুট ক্যাম্পের মাধ্যমে চাকরীর উপযোগী করে গড়ে তোলা হবে । এই ১বছর /৬ মাস সে ফুল টাইম শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে সপ্তাহে ৫ দিন (৪০ ঘন্টা) প্রতিদিন ৮ ঘন্টা ক্লাস, আসাইনমেন্ট, প্রজেক্ট এবং প্র্যাকটিক্যাল করবে।

২. ১ বছর/ ৬ মাস বুটক্যাম্প শেষে তাকে আমরা বিশ্বের স্বনাম ধন্য ২০০০ বহুজাতিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের যে কোন একটিতে তাকে শিক্ষানবিশ হিসেবে নিশ্চিত চাকরীর সুযোগ করে দিব এবং পরবর্তী ৩ বছর/ ১৮ মাস সে ফুল্টাইম চাকরী এবং পার্ট টাইম শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে তার ডিগ্রী শেষ করবে। এই সময়ে তার সপ্তাহে ক্লাস থাকবে ৬ ঘন্টা।

৩. ৪ বছরে একজন অনার্স শিক্ষার্থীকে তার পড়ালেখার জন্য ১২০০০ ডলার এবং মাস্টার্স শক্ষার্থীকে ৮০০০ ডলার ব্যয় করতে হবে । কিন্ত একজন অনার্স শক্ষার্থী এই সময়ে ১৬২০০ ডলার এবং মাস্টার্স শক্ষার্থী ৭২০০ ডলার পর্যন্ত আয়ের সুযোগ পাচ্ছে । সেই ক্ষেত্রে ১ম বছর/৬ মাস প্রতি মাসের শিক্ষা ব্যয়ের বাইরে তার নিজ উৎস থেকে আর শিক্ষার জন্য তাকে ব্যয় করতে হবে না বরং উল্টো সে ব্যয় মিটিয়ে নিজের হাত খরচ চালিয়ে নিতে পারবে।

৪. অনার্স /মাস্টার্স শেষ হবার পর তার সময় ব্যয় ব্যাতীত আসলে তার আর কোন ব্যয় নেই। এই সময়ের বিনিময়ে সে পাবে UK, Europe এর শীর্ষস্থানীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যাল্য় থেকে কম্পিউটার ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অথবা ডিজিটাল বিজনেস ম্যাঞ্জমেণ্ট এ অনার্স /মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রী , পাশাপাশি ৩বছর/ ১৮ মাসের বহুজাতিক কোম্পানীতে কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা এবং দক্ষতা সনদ।

৫. ঘরে বসেই একজন শিক্ষার্থী বৈশ্বিক ডিগ্রী অর্জনের পাশাপাশি , বহুজাতিক কোম্পানীতে চাকরীর অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করবে অর্থাৎ locally অবস্থান করেও সে একজন global নাগরিক হিসবে নিজেকে তুলে ধরতে পারবে।

বর্তমান প্রযুক্তি নির্ভর অর্থনীতির এই যুগে উৎকর্ষতা এবং দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধির সীমানা আকশ ছোঁয়া। করোনার প্রকোপ বিশ্বকে আরও দ্রুত ডিজিটালাইজশনের দিকে ধাবিত করেছে। যে দেশ যত দ্রুত ডিজিটাল ট্রান্সফরমেশনের জন্য জনশক্তি তৈরী করে নিজেদের প্রস্তুত করবে সেই দেশ আগামীর অর্থনীতিসহ সর্বক্ষেত্রে তাদের শক্তিশালী অবস্থান নিশ্চিত করতে পারবে।

বর্তমান এবং আগামীর ডিজিটাল ব্যাবস্থাপনার সাথে মানিয়ে চলতে বাংলাদেশ কতটুকু প্রস্তুত? বর্তমান শিক্ষা ব্যাবস্থা আগামীর ডিজিটাল বিশ্বের চ্যালঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় কার্যকর কি না তা এক বড় জিজ্ঞাসা।

আমাদের উচ্চ শিক্ষিত (অনার্স এবং মাস্টার্স পাশ) জনগোষ্ঠীর প্রায় ৪৭%) কর্মহীন যা আগামীর উন্নত বাংলাদেশ বিনির্মানের ক্ষেত্রে বড় অন্তরায়। এক্ষুনি বাংলাদেশ যদি এই অন্তরায় উত্তরণে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করতে না পারে তবে উন্নত বাংলাদেশের স্বপ্ন অধরাই থেকে যাবে।

আর তাই ৪র্থ শিল্প বিপ্লবের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় , বৈশ্বিক ডিজিটাল ট্রান্সফরমেশনের উপযোগী হিসবে নিজিকে গড়ে তুলতে LCBS Dhaka এবং Lithan এর কর্ম নির্ভর অনার্স/মাস্টার্স প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি হয়ে বেকারত্বের অভিশাপ থেকে মুক্ত থাকুন এবং নিজেকে স্বনির্ভর হিসেবে গড়ে তুলুন।

Mr. Leslie Loh is an entrepreneur, angel investor and educator. He graduated from Saint Mary’s University, Canada, in 1982 with a bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Information Technology.

At the age of 23, Leslie founded System Access Pte Ltd. As chairman and CEO, Leslie grew the company from a one-man outfit to a global banking software organization with 10 offices and 500 staff across Europe, Middle East and Asia. System Access was publicly listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2005 and was subsequently acquired in 2006 by a leading US Based global financial services software provider.

Leslie was the winner of the 1998 ASME Rotary Entrepreneur of the Year in Singapore. In 1999, Leslie received the National Youth Award (Individual) for his success as an entrepreneur. In 2006, Leslie was awarded the “Person of The Year” IT Leader Award by the Singapore Computer Society.

Mr Loh was appointed to IDA (Infocomm Development Authority) Singapore Board from 1999 to 2003 and SPRING (SME Development Authority) Singapore Board from 2011 to 2013 respectively. Leslie frequently contributes time to support the development of tech community in Singapore and the region. Leslie is also a member of several national development committees involved in charting the economic strategies, manpower development, and entrepreneurship development of Singapore.
